Leadership of the Ghana Christian University Alumni Association
As a proud alumnus of Ghana Christian University College, graduating in 2018, I recognized a need to reignite the spirit of community among graduates and foster ongoing connections with our alma mater. With this vision, I took on the challenge of leading the Ghana Christian University Alumni Association (Ghanacu Alumni Association), a network aimed at rekindling relationships, supporting the university's growth, and contributing to its development.
My journey began when I was entrusted with the responsibility of managing a dormant Alumni Facebook group. Seeing its potential as a platform for reconnection, I integrated it with an existing Alumni WhatsApp group, successfully bringing together over 400 alumni eager to rebuild our network.
From there, we established an interim leadership team, and I was honored to be elected as President. Together with a dedicated team, we began laying a strong foundation for the association’s future impact. Our goals were ambitious, including reconnecting alumni, supporting current students, and contributing to the university’s infrastructure and reputation.

Homecoming Event
Since our formal introduction in 2023, we have made significant strides in various areas, beyond Strengthening Alumni Networks, Establishing a Constitution and Organizational Structure, and Supporting the University’s Mission:
In collaboration with the university, we organized our first successful Homecoming Event. This event brought together alumni from various parts of the world, fostering deeper connections and a renewed sense of belonging to the Ghanacu community.

Gate Construction Project
A major milestone has been the launch of a fundraising initiative to support the construction of a new university entrance gate, a symbolic and practical upgrade for the institution. With the collective effort of alumni, we are on track to raise 200,000 Ghana Cedis for this project, and construction has already begun, marking a new chapter in the university’s development.
Our vision for the Ghanacu Alumni Association is to continue fostering a thriving alumni network that not only strengthens the bond among graduates but also plays a critical role in supporting the future of Ghana Christian University College. Together, we aim to leave a lasting legacy through continued engagement, fundraising efforts, and active participation in the growth of our alma mater.
As we look ahead, I am excited about the future of this association and the lasting impact we can have as alumni. It’s not just about remembering where we came from—it’s about building a brighter future for those who follow.
