Academic Background
Theocracy Complex and Senior High School
My early childhood education began at Bodwesango Methodist School in Adansi Bodwesnago, where I studied until Primary Five. I then transitioned to Theocracy Complex School and later Theocracy Senior High School, both mission institutions run by the Seventh Day Congregation of Theocracy. My foster father, a spiritual mentor and leader within the church, ensured that I was able to attend primary and junior high school without any financial burden due to the close relationship between him and my father.
In 2008, I graduated from Theocracy Complex School as the top student, earning a single aggregate 09 in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) from the West African Examination Council (WAEC). This achievement led to a full scholarship from the church to pursue my high school education at Theocracy Senior High School, where I specialized in Business Management (Accounting Option).
Although my high school studies were interwoven with my deep involvement in ministry, I graduated with a respectable aggregate 13. Despite the demands of ministry, my passion for learning and dedication to God's work remained at the forefront of my journey. The church continued to recognize my potential and extended its support by sponsoring my higher education at Ghana Christian University.

Ghana Christian University College
In October 2014, I embarked on the next phase of my educational journey at Ghana Christian University College, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a focus on Conflict Management. This period of study allowed me to further explore my faith while understanding doctrinal differences among Christian denominations.
Throughout my university years, I excelled academically, being awarded the Overall Best Theology Student for four consecutive years and graduating with First Class Honors. These achievements reflected not only my academic prowess but also my deep commitment to theological inquiry and leadership development.
My time at Ghana Christian University was marked by spirited debates with my lecturers and fellow students, particularly in areas of scripture interpretation. One of the key figures who helped shape my theological outlook was Rev. Alex Abban-Quarshie. His patience and mentorship were instrumental in my departure from the exclusive 'Theocratic' faith and helped me embrace a broader and deeper understanding of the Christian faith.
My leadership journey also continued during these years, as I served as Evangelism and Missions Director in my second year, Chief Justice in my third year, and Student President in my final year. As part of my degree program, I conducted in-depth research for my thesis titled "The Disinstitutionalization of 21st Century West African Marriages: Resolving the Conflict of Tradition versus Acculturation." This research examined the tension between traditional West African marriage practices and the influences of modernization and acculturation, with the aim of providing insight into how these conflicts can be resolved. My thesis work deepened my understanding of the intersection between culture, faith, and conflict resolution, and it continues to shape my approach to ministry and leadership.

Luther Seminary
In 2022, I began my studies at Luther Seminary, initially pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Leadership and Innovation for Ministry. During my first year, I realized that my calling, vocation, and passion for peace and conflict management aligned more closely with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). This led me to apply for the candidacy process and transition to the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program, allowing me to focus on becoming a pastor in the ELCA. The ELCA's theology deeply resonated with my experiences, reinforcing my commitment to this path.
As part of my candidacy process, I completed my Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from January to May 2023 at Volunteers of America High School, under the Social Justice CPE program in St. Paul, Minnesota. This hands-on experience in pastoral care and social justice further shaped my approach to ministry.
Throughout my time at Luther Seminary, I have taken on significant leadership roles, serving as both the Operations Supervisor and Senior Admissions Ambassador. These roles have provided me the opportunity to support the seminary’s mission while engaging with a diverse student body, deepening my skills in leadership, pastoral care, and ministry innovation. My journey at Luther Seminary has been transformative, equipping me to serve in various ministerial capacities with a focus on leadership, conflict management, and community-building.
